The VVG cable is a power cable consisting of flexible copper current- carrying conductors, with each conductor protected by an insulating layer made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) material. Additionally, the cable itself has a protective outer sheath made of PVC plastic. It is designed for the transmission and distribution of electrical energy in stationary installations with a nominal alternating voltage of 0.66 or 1kV.
Decoding of the AVVG cable:

• “V” – insulation coating made of PVC plastic;
• “V” – sheath made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plastic;
• “G” – no additional protection or protective covering;

These power cables have additional markings:

• “P” – flat power cable;
• “ng” – indicates that this cable subtype does not support the spread of combustion;
• “(A)” – negative combustion properties during group installation (Category A);
• “LS” – “low smoke”;
